形狀不是雕的，是算的
It looks spread by hand. It was calculated.
這面牆看起來像剛抹上去的鮮奶油。沒有人用手抹過它。
它在某間餐飲空間裡。整間店不是我們設計的，我們負責的是這面牆的工法與施工。
畫得出來，還要做得出來
一面牆要長成這樣，得先過兩關：畫得出來，做得出來。畫這一關，在螢幕上可以一直改，改到滿意為止。難的是它要從螢幕上下來，變成一面十四平方米、走過去摸得到的牆。
形狀要從哪裡來
形狀不是雕的，是算的。程式我們自己寫，數字一動，整面牆跟著變。第一版算出來，漩渦的中心會皺，一圈擠著一圈。那一題是我們在螢幕上自己撞上的。算法整個重寫，才順下來。
小的先試過，大的就不用賭
算對了還不夠。先印一個小的拿在手上，螢幕上看不出來的，手上摸得出來。小的先試過，大的就不用賭。全尺寸削出來，包一層強化，分成三塊搬進現場，兩道縫就留在牆上。
怎麼辦到的，這題我們留著。影片裡那兩張現場照是同一個機位，一張看得到縫，一張看不到，中間隔的就是這一題。

想讓店裡有一面別家做不出來的牆，帶店的想法和場地來，我們先一起算。
This wall looks like freshly spread cream, and no hand ever spread it. It stands in a restaurant we did not design; our part was the method and the build of this one wall. Drawing a form like this on screen is the easy half; bringing it down from the screen into fourteen square metres of wall you can touch is the hard one. The form was not carved but calculated, with software we wrote ourselves. The first version wrinkled at the centre of each swirl, ring crowding ring, and we rewrote the algorithm until it ran smooth. Then we printed a small one to hold, because what the screen hides, the hand finds. The full-size piece was cut, given a reinforcing skin, and brought to site in three pieces. How the two seams disappear, we keep to ourselves.
